Ori Inbar

Ori is the world’s leading expert in augmented reality and has devoted the past 10 years to fostering the AR ecosystem. In 2009, Ori was the co-founder and CEO of Ogmento (renamed Flyby Media – Acquired by Apple), one of the first venture-backed companies conceived to develop augmented reality games and tech. In 2012, Ori founded, a non-profit organization on a mission to advance augmented reality in order to advance humanity. has a moonshot goal to inspire 1 billion active users of augmented reality by 2020 and is the producing organization behind AWE, the world’s largest AR event in Silicon Valley, Asia, and Europe. Ori is a recognized speaker in industry events and a sought-after advisor for AR startups and initiatives. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Solution Marketing for SAP’s platform, Ori was responsible for the positioning and marketing of SAP NetWeaver – which under his leadership grew from a mere concept to a billion dollar business for SAP. Prior to SAP, Ori joined TopTier Software, as one of the first employees of this start-up. He lead the development and introduction to the market of more than 15 multimedia and business applications including the world’s leading enterprise portal, which in 2001 was acquired by SAP for $400 Million.

Barry Sandrew

Harvard/MGH neuroscientist, internationally recognized serial entrepreneur, digital imaging expert & visual effects (VFX) pioneer – Dr. Sandrew has over 33 patents and decades of feature film & TV accomplishments including productions for all the major Hollywood studios, TV networks & several cable networks. In 2000 he established the first & longest operating VFX studio in India.

In 1987 Sandrew invented digital colorization. Between 1987-1993, he colorized over 250 films, 180 TV episodes & 70 cartoons. He also produced all color, compositing & VFX for Spielberg’s first digital animated feature, We’re Back, A Dinosaur Story, Gahan Wilson’s animated classic, The Diner, the Fox TV series, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, as well as VFX for the ABC miniseries, War and Remembrance and the John Lennon documentary, Imagine.

In 2000 Sandrew re-invented colorization, founding Legend Films. There he produced 150 films for the Legend Films’​ library & colorized films for Fox, Sony, Universal and Paramount. Barry also produced VFX for Scorsese’s The Aviator, HBO’s Entourage, the CBS Sports Special, Jim Nantz Remembers Augusta: The 1960 Masters, the CBS Specials, Lucy Goes To Scotland & The Italian Movie & the ESPN Sports Special, The Greatest Game Ever Played.

In 2007 Sandrew invented a process for converting 2D films to 3D, changing the company name to Legend3D. Beginning in 2010, Sandrew oversaw creative & technical teams in the 3D conversion of Alice In Wonderland, the Shrek Trilogy, Transformers & many more tent-pole films at the height of the 3D phenomenon. In subsequent years the teams Barry Sandrew led have worked on the 3D conversion & VFX of more than 65 of the highest grossing 3D feature films of the past 10 years.

Sandrew is continuing to apply his professional team building & feature film VFX production talent at Southbay Motion Picture Technologies while also focusing on emerging opportunities in augmented reality via Nextech AR Studios.
